northern maryland and southern pennsylvania but extends down the east coast, particularly across the virginia, carolina area and all the way down to miami where it's heavy there as well. all this rain is moving from south to north along a stalled frontal boundary. that means heavy rain across much of the atlantic today and tomorrow. because of that we were have in effect flash flood watches. and in the bay along the coastal areas a high wind watch. bernadette joins us with more on the details....
